Open To All AKC Registered Pointing Breeds. A complete list of eligible breeds can be found at the AKC website HERE. Eligible breeds that have been granted Purebred Alternative Listing (PAL) are eligible to enter. All dogs must be 6 months of age or older on the day of the hunting test.

EVENT xxx IN THE AFTERNOON WILL INCLUDE A WATER TEST AS REQUIRED FOR SOME BREEDS BY THEIR PARENT CLUBS. THE WATER TEST IS A SEPARATE STAKE AND MUST BE ENTERED INDEPENDENTLY OF THE OTHER STAKES OFFERED.

JUNIOR HUNTER, SENIOR HUNTER AND MASTER HUNTER CLASSES FOR POINTING BREEDS WILL BE OFFERED AT THESE TESTS
These Hunting Tests are held under the Rules and Procedures of the AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB (AKC). Tests are open to all AKC registered pointing breeds, including those that have been granted Indefinite Listing Privileges (ILPs).
RUNNING ORDER:
Dogs may be run in an order different from the order in which they are drawn when, in the opinion of the Judges or Hunting Test Committee, such will result in a reasonable and desirable saving of time or in the conduct of the event. This provision does not apply to late arrivals..
BIRDS:
Quail and/or chukar partridges shall be used in the land series of Senior and Master Hunting Tests. Pigeons may be used in all series in Junior Hunting Tests.
PRIZES:
Standard AKC Ribbons to all dogs receiving a qualifying score.
